Before you book
Our team brings over 20 years’ experience in detailing and PPF. We’ll help you understand the options for your headlights before you choose.
Read the DVSA headlamp guidanceSmoked headlight PPF starts from £149 + VAT for a pair of headlights (£178.80 including VAT), fitted. The final price depends on the vehicle, lens condition, film and preparation required. Send your make, model, year and clear photos of both headlights on WhatsApp. Clear headlight PPF is quoted separately.
Clear headlight PPF focuses on protection with minimal change to appearance. Smoked PPF combines a protective film with a tinted finish. A darker appearance can affect light output, so the selected film and your headlights need to be considered together. We discuss suitability before agreeing the work.
A smoked finish is not automatically suitable for road use. DVSA’s MOT guidance treats a product on a headlamp lens that obviously reduces light intensity, or changes emitted colour away from white or yellow, as a major defect. We do not guarantee an MOT pass for tinted headlights. Discuss your intended use with us; clear film is the protection-focused option.
Not necessarily. Headlight tint describes an appearance; PPF describes a protective film. Materials, impact protection, optical properties and warranties differ between products. We confirm the exact film, its lens compatibility and care requirements with your quote.
PPF is not a repair for existing damage. Clouding, failing coatings, cracks or previous restoration can affect whether film is suitable. Send photos first so we can discuss the lens condition and any preparation required before booking.
Yes. You can enquire about a standalone pair of headlights, or discuss them alongside clear PPF, coloured PPF or other work. Headlight coverage and the chosen film are confirmed separately in your quote.
Timing depends on the lens shape, condition and preparation. We confirm the appointment length, aftercare and any product warranty with your chosen film. Professional advice is recommended before removing film from older or previously restored lenses.
