Shield’s flexible TPU helps our fitters work with curves, sculpted panels and complex body lines. Combined with precise fitting and wrapped edges where practical, it creates a clean, continuous-looking finish.
Gloss you can see
A clear finish that lets the paint show through, or a coloured film that changes the whole character of the car. Our installation films show the care in fitting and the finished reflections.
Protection with recovery
A protective TPU layer against everyday wear, with heat-assisted recovery of light topcoat marks. Deep scratches and impacts can still damage the film.

What makes Obsidian Shield conformable?
Its flexible TPU construction helps an experienced installer follow curves, recesses and complex body lines. Careful positioning and edge wrapping, where practical, help achieve a seamless-looking finish. Film joins and edge treatment depend on the vehicle and coverage agreed.
Can you remove my existing PPF and replace it with Shield?
Yes, we can assess the existing film and paint before quoting for removal, preparation and a new Shield installation. Tell us the age of the film and whether the panels have been repainted, and send photographs so we can plan the work.
Does the clear-film specification apply to every Shield colour?
No. The table below is the clear PPF reference specification. Coloured films can have different construction, thickness, finish and warranty. We confirm the exact product and its terms before you book.
Will self-healing repair every scratch?
Heat-assisted self-healing is intended for light surface marks in the topcoat. It will not repair deep cuts, punctures or damage to the paint underneath. Follow the care guidance supplied with your selected film.
