Meta Trak S5 Deadlock
The S5 Deadlock goes further — if there's no tag in the vehicle, it simply will not start. Open the Meta Trak app and send a 'Block' command and the immobiliser deadlocks entirely, meaning even someone with your key AND your tag cannot start the car. Meta Trak are the only Thatcham-accredited company to offer this.

How the Tag System Works.
Tag Stays With the Driver
Each installation comes with two small tags. Attach one to your key ring. The second is a spare — or for a second driver. Whenever you drive, the tag must be in your possession and in the vehicle.
Movement Without Tag = Alert
If the vehicle moves several metres and no tag is detected inside, this triggers an immediate alert in the Secure Operating Centre (SOC), which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You're Called. Then Police Are Notified.
The SOC immediately sends an alert to your smartphone app and calls you directly. They confirm whether the movement is unauthorised. If it is, the Police are notified with the vehicle's live location.
24/7 Live Tracking & Recovery
The SOC liaisons directly with UK Police forces to track and recover your vehicle in real time. Multi-network SIM ensures European coverage too.
The Deadlock
Feature Explained.
Meta Trak are the only Thatcham-accredited company to offer a wireless immobiliser with a deadlock feature. Here's how it works:
Driver has the tag. Vehicle starts as normal. No friction whatsoever.
If no tag is detected, the immobiliser prevents the vehicle from starting entirely. 'No tag, no start.'
Send a 'Block' command from your phone. Even a thief with your key AND your tag cannot start the vehicle. Only an 'Unblock' command from your registered phone will re-enable start.
Modern relay theft can clone a key signal in seconds — standard trackers don't prevent the car being driven away
The Deadlock feature means even a cloned key combined with a stolen tag still cannot start the car

What is the 'No tag, no start' feature?+
On the S5 Deadlock models, a wireless immobiliser is fitted that prevents the vehicle from starting unless a recognised tag is present inside the car. There is no way to override this without the tag — giving you complete protection even if your keys are stolen.
What does 'Deadlock' mean?+
Deadlock is a feature exclusive to Meta Trak. By opening the app and sending a 'Block' command, the immobiliser is fully deadlocked. Even if a thief has your car key AND your tag, the car will not start. The only way to unlock it is to send an 'Unblock' command from your registered phone.
How long does installation take?+
Most Meta Trak S5 installations are completed within a half to a full day at our West Drayton studio. We'll confirm the exact time when you book. All work is appointment-only.
What does the annual subscription cover?+
The subscription covers 24/7 SOC monitoring, UK & European tracking coverage via multi-network SIM, app connectivity, and all emergency response services. After the first 12 months included in the installation price, renewal is £189 per year.
